What plants are there in the rainforest?
What plants and trees do we have in Brunei? Who looks after ours in school? Do plants grow quickly? What are they called?
There are all sorts of plants such as Blue Jacarda,Parrots Beak,Golden bamboo, Water Jasmine,Rose of china (hibiscus),AustralianWillow,Pink Bannana,Foxtail Palm,Cuban Cigar and Wodyet Ieyurcote
Mrs Noble 's class want to know: You know the names of lots of plants do you have any photographs of them? How did you learn so many names, do you go to the jungle often?
We have all the names of the plants and tress written around the school. Mr Pradhan has made them! We have been into the jungle on a school trip before. We are also going on a residential to Malaysia in June!
One of the most rarest flowers in Borneo is the Rafflesia it only blossoms for a few days every year and it is also the smelliest plant in the whole world.
We have palm trees, willows, water jasmine, blue jacaranda, pink banana, rose of china, golden bamboo and wodyetia bifurcate.

DeleteIn the Brunei rainforest, there are toughly 15,000 species of flowering plants with 3,000 species of trees (267 of them are dipterocarps.)
